Took the whole family to Big Bend Backcountry. We went Outer Mountain Loop sections from the Chisos side starting at 6:00 AM. Wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. Overall 5/5. Difficulty 3/5. Scenery 4/5. Short version: Share beta when asked. Just show up ready. Quick notes: - Keep music in your ears only. - Bring the rain layer even if clear. - Share beta when asked.
