Big Bend Backcountry at dusk hits different. We went Chisos Basin entry with East Rim side mileage starting at 6:50 AM. Cool morning temps made long exposed miles feel manageable. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections. Light was best in the first two hours. Bottom line: Move over for faster hikers. Would do again in a heartbeat.
