Logistics breakdown for Big Bend Backcountry:
We went Dodson and Blue Creek combo with a one-night camp starting at 5:10 AM. Dry air and steady sun meant layers changed fast after sunrise. No major blowdown, just loose gravel in steep sections.
Overall 5/5. Difficulty 5/5. Scenery 4/5.
