There are moments when the trail gives you exactly what you need. We took dodson and blue creek combo with a one-night camp with solo. Started around 5:10 am when wind on ridges was steady but never pushed us off pace. The trail route stayed obvious, with minor wash marks in low spots. Water planning mattered most since natural sources were limited. Plan accordingly.
