Camping is by Reservation Only. To camp on all sites, reservations need to be made before arrival online at recreation.gov or by calling the recreation.gov call center at (877) 444-6777.
Camping stay limit is 14 days of any 30-day period within all Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest lands. A twenty-eight-day interval is required before returning for another stay. 36 CFR Section 261.58(a).
Generators may be used up to 4 total hours per day between the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am no vehicles, generators, music, or other noises that can be heard beyond a party's campsite are tolerated. Depending on generator volume and campground occupancy, the host may instruct users to discontinue generator use as necessary outside of quiet hours.
No driving, unloading, or loading of any ATVs, UTV, or Golf Carts allowed on or near all the campgrounds and the Tallulah River Road outside of the private properties in Tate City.
No hunting within 450' of a developed campground, campsite, trail, or other developed recreation site on the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest.
