How do I reserve Fundy Footpath camping?
Reserve the Fundy National Park backcountry sites on the Parks Canada Reservation Service, or call 1-877-737-3783. You need a backcountry permit as well.
When do Fundy backcountry reservations open?
In 2026 the launch was Friday, February 6 at 8 am Atlantic time. Parks Canada had not published the 2027 date on October 29, 2026.
How long is the Fundy Footpath?
It depends on who you ask. Parks Canada calls the route 41 km, and the Fundy Trail Provincial Park page says 63.4 km. The Goose River Trail section alone is 11.4 km one way.
How many backcountry campsites does Fundy National Park have?
Eight, and Parks Canada says 100 percent of them are reservable.
Can I get a Fundy backcountry site if it is full?
A cancellation puts the site back on sale. This page does not check that system for you yet, so look at the agency page again as your dates get closer.
