Specific to this permit, not a generic camping list.

  • Bring

All your drinking water. The park states there is no potable water in Fossil Flats; fill at the Visitor Center bottle filling station on the way in

  • Bring

    Firewood

since collecting is not an option in a state park

  • Bring

    Shade of your own

    this is open Moab-area desert

  • Bring

A stove as a backup to the fire ring, in case fire restrictions are in force

  • Bring

A headlamp with a red mode for the night sky

8 people can go on one permit. Split this list between them so nobody carries two stoves.
