What to bring on Rogue

Specific to this permit, not a generic camping list. One item is written into the permit rules, and every one of those carries the rule it comes from.

    A dedicated, reusable, washable, watertight toilet system with a screw-on or latching gasket lid

    one pint per person per day

    Permit rule: “Toilet systems and fire pans are required for all float trips year-round”

    A fire pan, required year-round for any fire within 400 feet of the river

    A shovel and a bucket of at least one gallon per party
