How to Book Florida State Parks: Cancellations, Release Times and Alerts
You book a campsite on Florida State Parks yourself, at reserve.floridastateparks.org. PermitSnag does not take reservations. When the dates you want are full, a PermitSnag alert checks Florida State Parks for cancellations and texts or emails you when one opens.
How Florida State Parks works
Florida State Parks, at reserve.floridastateparks.org, is the booking system for campgrounds run by Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Recreation and Parks. This page is PermitSnag's guide to booking on it, not the booking system itself; you'll reserve directly on reserve.floridastateparks.org.
When cancellations show up
Florida State Parks opens its booking window on its own schedule, and reserve.floridastateparks.org is the source for the exact date. What's constant is what happens after: sites fill, plans change, and cancellations go back onto the calendar. PermitSnag checks campgrounds here and texts or emails you the moment one opens up.
How a PermitSnag alert helps
A PermitSnag alert checks Florida State Parks on your behalf and texts or emails you the moment a cancellation lands, so you are not the one refreshing the page. Set an alert on any permit or campground you can reach from the links below, or search for it from the full permit directory.
