How to Book ReserveMN (Minnesota State Parks): Cancellations, Release Times and Alerts
You book a permit or a campsite on ReserveMN (Minnesota State Parks) yourself, at reservemn.usedirect.com. PermitSnag does not take reservations. When the dates you want are full, a PermitSnag alert checks ReserveMN (Minnesota State Parks) for cancellations and texts or emails you when one opens.
How ReserveMN (Minnesota State Parks) works
ReserveMN (Minnesota State Parks), at reservemn.usedirect.com, is the booking system for permits and campgrounds run by Minnesota DNR, Division of Parks and Trails. This page is PermitSnag's guide to booking on it, not the booking system itself; you'll reserve directly on reservemn.usedirect.com.
When cancellations show up
ReserveMN (Minnesota State Parks) opens its booking window on its own schedule, and reservemn.usedirect.com is the source for the exact date. What's constant is what happens after: sites fill, plans change, and cancellations go back onto the calendar. PermitSnag checks permits and campgrounds here and texts or emails you the moment one opens up.
