Wingate Yurts open twice this week, plus new Subway and Rim-to-Rim dates
What dropped this week
Dead Horse Point's Wingate Yurts and Wingate Hike-In both opened up for September 16, 17, and 18, and again for October 10 and 13. The Subway in Zion had three separate dates come open this week: September 9, September 19, and September 25. Grand Canyon's Rim-to-Rim got a November 3 slot, and the Middle Fork Salmon opened for September 18 and September 25. The Enchantments Snow Zone also showed a same-day opening for September 8. If any of those dates line up with your trip window, move on them. Zion and Dead Horse Point permits especially tend not to sit open long.

Right now you can find open availability on Whitney Mountaineer's Route in Inyo National Forest, both Wingate Yurts and Wingate Hike-In at Dead Horse Point, Grand Gulch on Cedar Mesa, Mt. Langley and Mt. Whitney Day in Sequoia & Kings Canyon, Lyell Canyon (Donohue Pass eligible) in Yosemite, and The Subway in Zion. Worth a direct check if any of these are on your list.
