The Subway opens three new dates, plus Havasupai and Fiery Furnace this week
What dropped this week
The Subway in Zion had a good week, with new openings showing up for October 7, 8, and 13. Havasupai Falls freed up a spot for October 6, and over in Point Reyes, Glen Camp opened for October 24. Arches saw Fiery Furnace open for October 7, and Malibu Creek Campground did the same. Crystal Cove's Deer Canyon loosened up twice, with October 7 and October 26 both opening. On the river side, Gates of Lodore and the Yampa both picked up November 5 availability in Dinosaur, and St. Helens climbing permits opened for October 10.

Whitney Overnight in Sequoia & Kings Canyon, The Subway in Zion, Havasupai Falls, Colchuck in the Enchantments, Gates of Lodore, and Paria Canyon (both the NPS and BLM listings). If any of these are on your list, worth checking again soon since this kind of availability tends to move fast.
Lotteries opening/closing soon
Angels Landing's lottery window closes October 20. If you want a shot at a permit for that stretch, get your application in before then.
