How to Book South Dakota and Louisiana State Parks (Go Outdoors): Cancellations, Release Times and Alerts
How South Dakota and Louisiana State Parks (Go Outdoors) works
South Dakota and Louisiana State Parks (Go Outdoors) (reservations.gooutdoorssouthdakota.com and reservations.gooutdoorslouisiana.com) is South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks; Louisiana Office of State Parks's booking system for campgrounds. This page is PermitSnag's guide to booking on it, not the booking system itself; you'll reserve directly on reservations.gooutdoorssouthdakota.com and reservations.gooutdoorslouisiana.com.
When cancellations show up
South Dakota and Louisiana State Parks (Go Outdoors) opens its booking window on its own schedule, and reservations.gooutdoorssouthdakota.com and reservations.gooutdoorslouisiana.com is the source for the exact date. What's constant is what happens after: sites fill, plans change, and cancellations go back onto the calendar. PermitSnag checks campgrounds here and texts or emails you the moment one opens up.
How a PermitSnag alert helps
A PermitSnag alert checks South Dakota and Louisiana State Parks (Go Outdoors) on your behalf and texts or emails you the moment a cancellation lands, so you are not the one refreshing the page. Set an alert on any permit or campground you can reach from the links below, or search for it from the full permit directory.
