Keith J. Charters Traverse City State Park features over a quarter mile of beautiful sandy beach on East Grand Traverse Bay. The park is located two miles from downtown Traverse City and is accessible via the Traverse Area Recreational Trail for pedestrians and bicyclists. The campground is open year round with heated restrooms.
